Something particularly special runs through the seas of Bocas. International championships have been held with professionals from all over the world, such as the ISA World Masters Surfing Championship or the Caribbean Open Master Edition.
Even surf celebrities such as Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Taj Burrow, and Tom Curren, have chosen Bocas as a surfing destination.
We recently had the pleasure of participating in the Caribbean Open Master edition tournament, which was a delight for both those who practice the sport and those of us who enjoy watching it.

This archipelago of wave-rich islands offers a wide variety of beach and
coral swells so you never get bored when choosing your surfing spot.
The main surfing season is from December to March and during June,
July and August. But even the off-season, flat months offer wonderful opportunities for other water activities such as scuba diving, spearfishing, and snorkeling.
